Artists in the commons take their own practice and the organization of their work into their own hands, based on solidarity, fair use and shared investment.

In that sense, the artistic work is developed in the broader context of a self-understanding of what it means to be an artist today in a changing global economic environment, and which model of production corresponds to it.
